Who is The Phoenix?
I am an artist (sketchist, painter, photographer, musician, writer, videographer, among other things). I see things the way an artist sees them and there is beauty in everything. I am a student; I like to learn about anything I can. I am also a student in the secular form at the moment. I am a fan of [nearly] everything music. I enjoy me a good concert every now and again. I love the ocean. I am a goofball, a silly-heart. I enjoy laughing at life and making others smile. I am an anomaly. Unique. Different. I enjoy traveling. I am a runner. It will always be in me. I am a reader. I enjoy a good book. I appreciate a smart writer. I am a thinker. I am a lover. Life is too short to be fighting. I am a listener. I like being someone people can talk to. And I listen …. really listen. I have other aspects of who I am, but what’s the fun in giving it all away here when you can catch up on it in my blog? 
My point in this new bloggy journey is to rediscover myself and what gives me joy. In a way, I’m starting [everything] over from scratch (hence the Phoenix. I’m rising from the ashes and aspiring to be rebuilt into new… better). I want to make a better me. I also hope to spread the love and the things I’ve gleaned from my life and perhaps give you something for your own. Thank you for stopping by.
